Phil Urban will be speaking to Fisher’s graduate students about his leadership success over the course of his career. While he is leading a growing insurance company, Mr. Urban’s perspective is appealing to many leadership styles across various industries. He is a dynamic speaker who will be retiring in February 2010, at the top of his game.

Over the past 10 years, Phil Urban has led Grange Insurance into thriving times. He has helped grow the billion dollar company by almost doubling its revenue, introducing enhancements in technology and products, and promoting positive community influence. His commitment to the communities which Grange services is immense, having served as chair of the United Way Leading Edge campaign, chairman for Experience Columbus and opening the Grange Insurance Audubon Center this past summer.

Additionally, Mr. Urban has graciously agreed to have dinner at The Blackwell with a select group of students following his presentation. This is a great chance to speak with Mr. Urban and gain valuable insights into his career and Grange Insurance. To submit your interest in attending the post-presentation dinner, please email Molly Hood (hood_122@fisher.osu.edu) by January 5, 2010.  Your resume from FisherConnect will be reviewed in this application process and you will be notified if you are selected to attend. You must sign up for and attend the presentation to be considered.
