Brian Link is the former Chief Technical Officer of Digg.com and will be speaking both about the explosive growth he experienced at Digg and his new venture, Toobla.

Recently, Brian was VP of Technology for Digg.com, where he led Development, QA and R&D for 3 years. Under his leadership, Digg grew from 200K to 4MM users and to over 35MM monthly unique visitors, becoming one of the most visited sites in the world. He is skilled in multiple development technologies and methodologies (including LAMP and Agile). Brian has also served as the CTO for a 1000 person retail software company and has advised many local Internet startups in Columbus. Previously, Brian spent 13 years at Cambridge Technology Partners in technology leadership roles, working with Microsoft, .NET and many other software integration technologies delivering fixed-time, fixed-price multi-million dollar engagements.

Currently, Brian is the CEO of Toobla, an Internet startup based in Columbus, Ohio. Toobla is revolutionizing the way people collect and share content online with its unique visual bookmarking service. Whether you collect websites, videos, images, documents, or widgets, Toobla provides a simple way to share multiple items in an online visual folder with a short URL or as an embedded widget on your blog. And with our new favoriting feature coupled with Toobla's tight integration with Facebook, we provide a fun way to share everything and anything you discover on the web.

Locally in Columbus, Brian was a founder of the popular TechLife community and currently serves as a Partner in the Internet startup accelerator weBuild. Brian sits on the board of multiple very early stage Internet startups, advising and coaching as part of a virtual executive team.
